UC San Diego encourages safe cycling and is working to create a more bike-friendly campus for students, faculty and staff.
Bicycle Enclosures
Transportation Services operates bicycle enclosures that are open to all UC San Diego affiliate commuters with a valid UC San Diego One Card.
Locations:
- Gilman Parking Structure – secure area for 42 bikes on the second floor
- South Parking Structure – secure area for 40 bikes on the second floor
- Bike Barn @ Central Campus Blue Line station
- Torrey Pines Center South parking garage – secure area for 15 bikes on the south end second floor
To request enclosure access, you must:
- Be active faculty, staff or student with UC San Diego One Card
- Complete the Bike Enclosure Access Request
- Receive an email confirming access and available locations (Processing and activation may take up to three business days.)
