Triton Transit General Transit Feed Specification

The General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) is an open standard used to distribute relevant information about transit systems to riders. It allows public transit agencies to publish their transit data in a format that can be used by a variety of software applications, such as online trip planners and scheduling applications.

Real-Time Feeds

For real-time information, GTFS-RT is the industry standard data format for providing arrival prediction data, live vehicle locations, and service alerts. An extension of GTFS, GTFS-RT must be used in conjunction with Triton Transit’s GTFS Static feed.
