Event Parking

Find parking and transit guidance and convenient dining options for events at these UC San Diego venues. (Note: UC San Diego requires the purchase of parking permits every day. Get detail.)


Canyonview Aquatic Center

Visitor Parking

  • Nearest parking facility: Gilman Parking Structure, located across from the Conrad Prebys Music Center.
  • Directions: Access the structure by travelling north on Villa La Jolla Drive through the Villa la Jolla Drive and Gilman Drive intersection (directions via Google Maps).
  • Parking permits: You can buy a required visitor parking permit at an adjacent parking pay station or by using the zone code "4752" through the ParkMobile app. Park only in visitor spaces marked “V” on the ground.
  • Wayfinding: Near your parking facility, you will find walking directions to your final destination prominently posted.

Transit Information

Take the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley to Central Campus Station, one block from your destination. Alternatively, transfer from the MTS and NCTD bus transit stop at the Gilman Transit Center and take Triton Transit’s free Outside Loop to the Central Campus Station.

Visitors with a disabled persons parking placard or license plate may park free of charge in handicap-accessible, visitor parking and EV charging spaces (paid charging session required) throughout campus (more information).

  • Nearest parking facility: Hopkins Parking Structure, located next to the San Diego Supercomputer Center
  • Directions: While traveling on North Torrey Pines Road, turn onto Northpoint Drive. Continue straight through Hopkins Drive and then make a right turn into the Hopkins Parking Structure. (Directions via Google Maps).
  • Parking permits: You can buy a required visitor parking permit at an adjacent parking pay station or by using the zone code "4752" through the ParkMobile app. Park only in visitor spaces marked “V” on the ground.
  • Wayfinding: Near your parking facility, you will find walking directions to your final destination prominently posted.

Transit Information

From the Central Campus Station or MTS and NCTD bus transit stop at Gilman Transit Center, take Triton Transit’s free Inside Loop or Outside Loop to the Ridge Walk Mobility Hub, a short walk from your event venue.

Triton Ballpark

Visitor Parking

  • Nearest parking facility: Parking Lot P701 (directions via Google Maps).
  • Directions: When traveling on Genesee Avenue, turn onto Campus Point Drive, continue straight through Campus Point Drive and Voigt Drive and make a left into Lot P701.
  • Parking permits: You can buy a required visitor parking permit at an adjacent parking pay station or by using the zone code "4752" through the ParkMobile app. Park only in visitor spaces marked “V” on the ground.
  • Wayfinding: Go to Voigt Drive and walk west approximately two blocks to Triton Ballpark.

Transit Information

Take the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley to the UCSD Health La Jolla Station. Walk west approximately two blocks on Voigt Drive to Triton Ballpark. Alternatively, transfer from MTS and NCTD bus transit stop at the Gilman Transit Center. Take Triton Transit’s free Outside Loop to the Warren Field stop and walk east approximately two blocks on Voigt Drive to Triton Ballpark.

UC San Diego Extended Studies 8980 Villa La Jolla Drive

  • Directions: Access the parking structure from Villa La Jolla Drive (directions via Google Maps).
  • Parking permits: You can buy a required visitor parking permit at an adjacent parking pay station or by using the zone code "4752" through the ParkMobile app. Park only in visitor spaces marked “V” on the ground.

Transit Information

From the MTS and NCTD bus transit stop at Gilman Transit Center, take Triton Transit’s ree SIO Shuttle or Mesa Loop to the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive.

UC San Diego Extended Studies Park & Market

Visitor Parking

  • Nearest parking facility: Parking is located beneath the Extended Studies building. Parking on site is limited. Overflow parking is available at the Padres Parkade, one block south.
  • Directions: Access the parking structure from Eleventh Avenue (directions via Google Maps).

Transit Information

Park & Market is best accessed by the MTS trolley network. Take the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley or Orange Line Trolley to the Park & Market stop. Alternatively, take the Green Line Trolley to the 12th and Imperial station and take the nine-minute walk to Park & Market.
