SIO Shuttle

Service area: Connects the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Birch Aquarium and the beach at Scripps Seaside Forum to the Central Campus at the Gilman Transit Center with a walking connection to the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley at the Central Campus Station (see routes map)
Operates (excluding university holidays):
- Every 30 minutes during peak periods, weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Times in red indicate weekdays only.)
- Every 30 minutes weekends 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Triton Transit buses may depart a time point early or skip stops if full and unable to safely accommodate additional riders.

Real-Time Shuttle Information

On July 1, 2026, Triton Transit will be transitioning from Transloc for bus information and the app may no longer be accurate. Riders will be able to get bus schedule and service details through the OneBusAway app (App Store and Google Play) or through the campus map.
