Patient/Visitor Parking

Warning: UC San Diego Health staff may not park in reserved patient/visitor parking areas except as a patient or visitor. Violators may receive costly citations.

  • Observe patient/visitor parking regulations 24 hours daily, including weekends. No permit is required on university-designated holidays.
  • Complimentary disabled parking is available in accessible spaces when you display a valid Disabled Person placard or plates.
  • Pay by App
  • Pay stations do not dispense change. Pay with any combination of the following:
    • Cash — $1 and $5 bills only
    • Visa, MasterCard or American Express

Self-Park and Valet Rates

Where available, valet service is offered weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only.

  • 0–3 hours: $5
  • Each additional hour: $2.20 (maximum $16 per day)

UC San Diego Health – Hillcrest

Emergency
Patient

Use patient parking in lot P959  (map). Pick up and display a complimentary emergency parking permit from the receptionist or nurse in Emergency.

Main Hospital
Patient/Visitor

Valet parking: Circular drive at Arbor Drive main entrance

Medical Offices South
Patient/Visitor

Use Montecito lot P964. Enter from First Avenue. Parking with valid Disabled Person placard or plates is free.

UC San Diego Health – La Jolla

Medical Group
Patient

Use patient parking in lot P603. Pick up and display a complimentary Medical Group one-day parking permit from the receptionist in the office or clinic you’re visiting.

Thornton Pavilion/Perlman Center/Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center
