Transportation, Parking and People Movement Survey

Several regional transportation projects are underway that will change how we get to and around campus, including the construction and arrival of the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley. Additionally, the Transportation Fee Referendum, passed in 2014, that provides students unlimited ridership on regional mass transit bus and trolley routes during academic quarters ends in 2019. A new transportation fee referendum will be needed to continue the U-Pass program.

In March 2017, Transportation Services conducted a comprehensive survey on commuter trends, preferences and perceptions to help us understand current campus commuting behaviors. Campus-affiliated faculty, students and staff have been sent an email invitation to participate. The feedback we received will help drive strategic planning efforts to better meet campus access needs and help us draft a new transportation fee referendum.
